Job Description

LightMetrics is seeking a passionate and skilled Software Development Engineer - Frontend with 3-5 years of experience to join our rapidly growing team in Bangalore. Our mission is to make roads safer for everyone, everywhere, by providing video telematics solutions that enhance the safety and efficiency of commercial vehicle fleets through AI on the edge and video analytics.

Requirements

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue).
  • Proficiency with NodeJS.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies for infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of web development best practices and responsive design.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in networking (HTTP) and browser functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features for our video telematics platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
