Product Manager – Edge AI

1) Manage and shape the end-to-end edge AI roadmap

o Define, prioritize, manage the roadmap for all edge AI capabilities including computer vision models and embedded software integration

o Define KPIs and business objectives for edge AI features (accuracy improvement, false positive rates, user adoption, reducing risk, latency, etc)

o Translate complex AI model related technical information and constraints into clear, market-facing features and customer benefits

2) In-vehicle UX ownership

o Single point of contact for in-vehicle experience for the driver

o Define how alerts are presented to maximize efficacy, minimize distractions

o Establish and manage the process to gather qualitative and quantitative user feedback for edge AI features

o Use the data gathered above to drive prioritization and execution

3) Cross functional execution and alignment

o Bridge AI, embedded, backend and frontend teams

o Every improvement, every feature has a touch point with the dashboard or the app – liaison effectively and ensure the feature is shipped in a timely anduseful manner

o Tie up loose ends ensuring dashboard implementation, backend API readiness, privacy compliance and mobile/web application support to deliver a polished product experience

4) Go-to-market and Deployment readiness

o Drive GTM strategy for edge AI related features, including testing, sales collateral, technical documentation, and customer facing documentation

o Provide product training and demos for internal teams and help external partners to foster product adoption and success

^{Minimum requirements for the role:}

a) For senior PM, minimum 3 years’ experience as a product manager

b) For PM, 1 year experience as a product manager is desirable

c) Experience in embedded systems, AI or computer vision products, cameras highly desirable

d) 2-5 years of experience as a developer – the role involves a lot of work with engineers internally and with customers’ teams. So, in addition to customers interaction, communicating with engineers is a key part of the role

e) Demonstrated ability to create requirements documents, specifications

f) Experience with market research, competition analysis and leveraging customer insights for creating and prioritizing roadmaps

g) Proven track record of managing complete product life cycle – ideation to development through to launch and iterative improvements

h) Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with experience collaborating across diverse teams (engineering, design, sales, etc.)

i) Ability to articulate product vision and influence key stakeholders – internal and external

j) Understand customer needs and translate them into product features

k) Experience in gathering customer feedback, validating hypotheses and incorporating user insights into product planning

l) Strong analytical skills and being very data driven when needed

m) Strong storytelling and presentation skills

n) Attention to detail, but have a clear big picture thinking also

o) High agency – not wait for ideal circumstances to get a job done, instead strive and create the circumstances yourself!
